Panzhou People's Hospital Data Center UPS Power Upgrade Project

Panzhou People's Hospital is located at the junction of Yunnan, Guizhou, and Guangxi provinces, situated in Panzhou City, thwest of Liupanshui City. Established in 1938, it is a national tertiary public general hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, research, prevention, healthcare, and reabilitation. It currently serves as a training base for Assistant General Practitioners in Guizhou Province and is an affiliated teaching hospital of Zunyi Medical University, as well as medicanal colleges and schools in various regions of the province and Panzhou City. Additionally, it is a member of the Guizhou Medical University Affiliated Hospital Medical Consortium,ou Pediatric Medicine Specialty Alliance, and the Guizhou Infertility and Reproductive Medicine Specialty Alliance.

The hospital covers an area of 111,000 square meters and is constructed in three phases. Phases I and II are in operation, with a total floor area of 109,200 square meters (including 27,500 square meters for the outpatient uilding, 34,100 square meters for the inpatient building, and 47,600 square meters for the comprehensive building). Construction of Phase III has commenced, wilanned floor area of 40,900 square meters, and is expected to be fully renovated and operational by the end of 2024. The hospital is eith hardware such as a hybrid lithotripsy and stone clearance system, gastrointestinal endoscopy systems (electronic colonoscopy, electronic gastroscopy, argon plasma clation), and shear wave elastography ultrasound diagnostic instruments. It pioneered the Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt (TIPS) procedure, filling gap in Liupanshui City, and leads the region in procedures such as endovascular repair of aortic dissection and abdominal aortic aneurysms, femoral artincision and thrombectomy, port-a-cath implantation, laser ablation of the great saphenous vein, and radiofrequency ablation of lung tumors. The hospital has  established a National Chest Pain Center and a National Comprehensive Stroke Center.

It is currently the construction unit for the Panzhou Critical Maternal and Neonatal Care Centers, Hypertension Diagnosis and Treatment Center, Stroke Cerauma Center, Laboratory Center, Imaging Center, Pathology Center, and Urology Diagnosis and Treatment Base. The Department of Thoracic Surgery, Orthopedics, and Neonatoloeen approved for the Guizhou Provincial Clinical Key Specialty Construction Projects; the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine is a key discipline of Liupanshui City; and the Departments ofNeonatology, Neurology, Urology, Thoracic Surgery, and Medical Laboratory are key specialties of Panzhou City, while the Departments of Ophthalmology and Dermatology are characteristic constructionecialties of Panzhou City.

The advanced equipment of hospitals serves as the cornerstone of modern medical informatization. Utilizing Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to ensure the safety of criticaal equipment is one of the most important methods to address the aforementioned issues, thereby driving the increasing demand for UPS systems in hospitals. Due to the growing number of critical hospital the existing UPS power system in this information center is no longer sufficient, necessitating urgent upgrades and expansion.

This project selected the 'Medical Dedicated Type' industrial-grade BOD series UPS units developed specifically for the medical industry by Bodiantong Company, luding 1 set of 400KL, 2 sets of 200KL, and 1 set of 80KL. This series of UPS systems is bon dual-core DSP (TMS320F28377) inverter and parallel control technology, Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) technology, advancednous current sharing control technology, and redundant parallel technology. They feature intelligent monitoring and protection functions, intelligent wireless battery monitoring technology, and centralized monitoring management functions. The parallel system offers highiability and supports up to 32 UPS units in redundant parallel operation. The UPS parallel operation supports shared battery banks, features self-diagnosis capabilities, and can recrd over 1,000 entries of operational history data. Tailored to meet the high standards required by various application environments in the medical field and various precision digital medical equipment, these systems provide rou-clock power protection for data centers, critical medical equipment, and key areas in the medical industry.
