On December 28, 2024, the Taian-Dongping Expressway opened to traffic. The Taian-Dongping abbreviated as 'Taishan-Dongping Expressway,' is a highway connecting Feicheng City and Dongping County within Taian City, Shandong Province, Cna, and is a component of the Shandong Province Expressway Network. The expressway starts at the Taoyuan East Hub in Taoyuan Town, Feicheng City he east, and ends at the Dongping Lake Toll Station in Laohu Town, Dongping County in the west. The total length of the route is 41.51 kilometers. It is a four-lane dual carriageway expressway with a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour.

The opening of the Tai'an-Dongping Expressway, together with the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Dongping Lake waterway and the Wanri Ray, forms the 'road-rail-water' multimodal transport network of Tai'an Port, creating a golden tourism transport corridor connecting Mount Tai and Dongping Lake. This enhances the radiatingdriving role of the Tai'an main urban area over Dongping County, and is of great significance for accelerating the construction of a major tourism landscape from Mount Tai to Dongping Lakromoting the ecological protection and high-quality development of Dongping Lake, and driving regional economic and social development.
