The Qingzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau is a component department of the Qingzhen Municipal People's Government, located at Wangchengpo on the banks of Hongfeng Lake. Its current office building was officially put into use in August 2015. It currently has 13 internal departments and 12 dispatched institutions. Its main functions cover public security prevention and control, criminal investigation, traffic management, drug control, and cyber security supervision. It is equipped with institutions such as the Command Center, Criminal Investigation Detachment, and Narcotics Control Detachment, and has established police stations in 12 jurisdictions, including Qinglong Mountain and Hongfeng Lake, to provide grassroots public security services.

The bureau completed its relocation of office premises in 2015 and was awarded the title of 'Advanced Unit in Recruitment Work in Guizhou Province' in 2021. In 2024, it proactively disclosed 108 pieces of government information, published 322 items of content on new media platforms, and established a 'three-level review and three-level proofreading' verification mechanism. The work plan for 2025 focuses on nine key tasks, including safeguarding national security, combating crime, and the construction of smart policing; its power list and responsibility list were reviewed, approved, and publicized by the municipal government in 2020.
