In 2025, Bodiantong's BOD Series industrial-grade industrial frequency UPS power supply successfully won the bid for Package 8 of the power supply system procurement project for the Phase I (Airport to New Railway Station Section) of the Astana New Transport System Light Rail Project. As a key project of the 'Belt and Road Initiative' and a China-Kazakhstan production capacity cooperation project, this is the first fully automated driverless light rail line in Central Asia. With a total length of 22.4 kilometers, it connects 18 stations and multiple urban landmarks. Bodiantong provides comprehensive uninterrupted power supply guarantees for core electrical equipment along the entire line, facilitating the implementation of Chinese standards in Central Asia, demonstrating the strength of 'Made in China,' and safeguarding the intelligent development of Astana's urban rail transit.
Core Customer Requirements
(1) 7×24-hour uninterrupted power supply to ensure the stable operation of the light rail fully automated driveless system, signaling control system, platform monitoring, emergency lighting, and ticketing systems, eliminating major risks such as train stoppages and data loss caused by municipal power anomalies and grid flutuations.
(2) Adapt to the complex climate of Astana with extreme cold and heavy snow, as well as diverse outdoor scenarios such as elevated tracks and vehicle depots; resist low tatures, wind, snow, vibration, and electromagnetic interference to output clean power, ensuring the safe and long-term operation of precision industrial control equipment.

Upon project implementation, the Bodetong BOD series UPS power supply achieved zero power outages and zero failures for core electrical equipmens the entire Phase I of the light rail line.
